The 12.38 Doncaster - Cambridge dmu passes Whitemoor Jn on December 13th 1980. Class 114 Derby 'heavyweight' set E56013 + E50039 is leading a hybrid Norwich set no. 79 consisting of Class 104 BRCW motor car E50597 and Cravens built Class 105 trailer E56131. Many of the Lincoln allocated class 114s had been repainted and refurbished by this time, but this set is still in BR standard blue. Gerard Fletcher.

28th September 1981

There was little over one year to go for the passenger services on the GN-GE joint line from March when 'hybrid' Birmingham R.C.W-Cravens unit E50595-E56139 was forming a March to Spalding service at Whitemoor Junction on 28 September 1981. The line was closed on 27th November 1982 and lifted a few years later. Gordon Edgar.

Hertfordshire Railtours 1G30 King`s Cross to Wisbech, Dereham and North Elmham `Anglian Vibrator` charter leaving the Wisbech branch at March Whitemoor Junction on 23 November 1985. Six Bells Junction lists the vehciles as W51346 + 59498 + 51388 / 55021 / 51347 + 59499 + 51389. Phil Bevan.
